About My Clients
I enjoy helping clients on their journey of discovering their authentic self and how to implement self-care into their daily routine. I am particularly interested in working with clients dealing with anxiety, since anxiety manifests in many facets. My clients include adults and adolescents with busy lives experiencing anxiety, life transition, stress, PTSD, relationship distress, premarital guidance, and work (school)/life balance (self-care).
My Background and Approach
I strive to focus on moving forward through collaborative, gentle nudges toward solutions and improvements. However, I recognize that therapy is not a one size fits all solution. Everyone has their own style and approach to doing things; therefore, I use a variation of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Restoration Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy, while bringing in tools from other modalities when needed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It takes bravery to share your most intimate experiences with another human being and I do not take that lightly. Therefore, my goal is to bring authenticity and gentleness into every session, while also being honest and direct. I work best with clients who are ready for change and would be honored to work with you while you take the journey to lighten the mental load you've been carrying. I cherish helping clients recognize and quiet the negative mental chatter and encourage them to overcome past suffering to make lasting changes.
