About My Clients
I work with an array of diverse people with various life challenges. I like to work with people who are open to the therapeutic process to increase self-insight and how internal and external factors affect one's life; people who are curious about cause and effect and are willing to explore these complexities within a therapeutic relationship.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy should be based on a relationship between you and your therapist. It is imperative you vibe with your therapist, feel safe in the space, and are able to build a bond of trust. Everyone is unique, therefore, clinical approaches will vary. My experience with a multitude of presenting problems affords me the ability to offer my services to most who are seeking growth, healing and change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe from an early age we are influenced by familial pressures, social constructs, and cultural norms. These messages and pressures are not always conducive to our authentic selves. I believe it is imperative we develop an understanding of how our lives have been impacted by these issues. Whether one has experienced social injustices and inequity or privilege and equity, we all have personal stories to unravel to cultivate our authentic self.
