About My Clients
Are you worried about your child's or teen's learning or social skills? Do you find yourself arguing with them much more than you would like? Perhaps you struggle with keeping your focus on essential tasks or jump into situations before thinking things through? Maybe you are exploring your gender in new ways? I provide testing services and some therapy to help clearly describe learning disabilities, autism, ADHD symptoms, and gender surgery recommendations to help people get effective treatment.
My Background and Approach
I work to provide an environment that is friendly and welcoming to children, teens, and people of all backgrounds and identities. I want to work collaboratively with families to think of solutions to their problems that are realistic and based on current research and best practices. I like to use humor and sometimes games to make therapy as fun and welcoming as possible. Most recently I completed the certificate in Affirmative Therapy for Transgender Communities from Widener University where I previously earned my Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Psychology. I tailored my training at Widener to focus on working with children and families of all sorts. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at SPIN in Philadelphia specializing in serving children and teens with autism. I am trained and experienced in autism diagnostic testing, including for women and non-binary persons, as well as testing to identify learning disabilities and differences in children and adults.
