I believe all couples can benefit from couples therapy to promote greater intimacy, reduce conflict, improve communication, and to learn tools for long-term success. I recommend couples therapy not only when experiencing conflict or an ongoing issue, but also during times of change. I am trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy which is a structured and evidence-based approach.
Adjustment Disorder is a fancy way of saying "life is hard sometimes and I'm having trouble coping!" Therapy provides a secure space for you to explore all areas of your life that trouble you. We will access and build upon your innate strengths to learn new ways to approach problems or longstanding habits. You will learn skills that you can immediately apply to improve your life and well-being. Therapy with me is often brief and intended to provide the tools needed to work through your stress.
