My Background and Approach
Deciding to seek therapy is a big step, and it can be scary. However, it is the first step towards making the change. You are already proving to yourself you can overcome the challenge and face the uncomfortable feelings just by being here and seeking therapy! There is a way to change patterns, tackle the trauma, and reframe negative narratives. I would love to be able to help you see your worth. I am certified in Trauma Informed – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and am passionate about helping clients reconnect with themselves and overcome uncomfortable and challenging feelings. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the power to grow, and change. As humans, we are resilient, and have the innate ability to overcome the obstacles we face. We are able to reframe negative thought patterns by finding the source of the thought, or belief that we hold. As a child, my thought process was negative. Through my own therapeutic journey, I was able to recognize the source, and overcome those feelings, reframing those thoughts. Along the way, I had the help of my animals, and truly believe the love of an animal could heal almost anything!
