About My Clients
I find particular joy in working with teens and young adults who are coming into their own and who are trying to find more empowerment and meaning in their relationships with themselves and others. Typically, I work with ages 13 to 35. I work with folks of all genders, sexualities, backgrounds, and life circumstances. All are welcome and encouraged to reach out to me for support.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, direct, and relational. I believe that building a strong and honest therapeutic relationship is the root from which genuine, positive and sustainable growth stems. I thoughtfully work to create a trusting and affirming space that encourages self-exploration and discovery and empowers clients to connect to and build on their intrinsic strengths and capacity for change. My work is grounded in attachment and trauma-based theories, and I draw upon elements of evidence-based and creative and expressive therapies to tailor therapy to the unique needs, interests and treatment goals of each client. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Middlebury College in 2015 and my master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan School of School Work in 2019. I have experience working with kids and teens in various mental health settings, including through NJ and NJ-based wellness programs and through Michigan Medicine's Department of Child Psychiatry.
