I work with children 10 and up, providing a mix of play/creative interventions, mindfulness techniques, emotional regulation strategies, and parent coaching. Child therapy is most effective when the caregivers are actively involved in the process, so we will work together to help you master evidence-based tools and strategies to help your child overcome behavioral/emotional challenges. I work with children with anxiety, ADHD, behavior challenges, mood problems, trauma, and low self-esteem.

Adolescence can be a really challenging time for teens and their families. I work with teens as a teammate and advocate to help them find their way through whatever challenges life is throwing at them. The tools that I give teens are designed to help them explore how to make healthy changes in their relationships and personal lives, and have the confidence and self-esteem to pursue their goals. I work with teens with anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and adjustment issues.

Teens today also have to deal with mental health effects of social media, pandemic fears, school closures, and social distancing. Counseling provides a safe space for teens learn ways of expressing difficult emotions, develop positive coping skills, and improve family and peer relationships.
