My Background and Approach
As a first-generation immigrant myself, I have personal and clinical experience working with adults who navigate life through different cultures and relationships. I am a native speaker of Mandarin and fluent in English. I combined the western psychological mind and eastern holistic wisdom into my practice. I am trained in Gestalt therapy, Internal Family System, and EMDR which all emphasized listening to your body and rekindle your inner connections.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in cultural humility and human connections. I strongly believe the wound from past relationships will heal through authentic connections. I am an LGBTQ ally and pro-choice therapist. I believe that the healing is coming from within and I am just a facilitator who guides you to your own path.
