I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, body image issues, and other challenges such as work, relationships, and family. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling very confused but knowing that they are not happy. They are looking for a place of peace where they can start to unpack things. Maybe that sounds like you too?
Are you spending your day feeling burnt out, on the verge of a meltdown, or feeling like you are going to shut down? A social life is important to keep our cups full and spoons in our drawers. However, when you wake up still feeling tired from the day before, socializing is the last thing you want to do. Living in a mode of constantly feeling burnout does not allow you to be your best self. Understanding your daily needs is important so that you can live a happier and more fulfilled life.
Do you often feel overwhelmed by anxiety and perfectionism, feeling paralyzed by the pressure to get everything right? You may deal with a relentless inner critic that constantly makes you question your abilities and decisions, leaving you feeling like an imposter despite your accomplishments.
I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and executive functioning issues. I focus on processing life's challenges, identifying chief complaints, teaching coping strategies to refocus your sense of direction, and adapt to a new "normal". I also work with client's reporting relationship issues to help them gain a deeper understanding and sense of connection. I do my best to provide support to clients to help them feel grounded in love and support.
It always amazes me the complete turn around clients can do with the tools they already have, they just needed to discover, reorganize or sharpen a few things. Clients who typically seek me out are looking for a therapist who specializes in trauma, perinatal or postpartum issues, women's issues, anxiety or who can help support them in a significant life transition. I am excited to offer you a space to heal, learn and feel you are not alone.

Are you an immigrant or a first-generation American navigating the intricate intersection of culture, religion, and identity? I am a first generation Muslim American. Albanian is my first language, and I am happy to work with clients in Albanian. English is my second language. I have tackled my own issues around identity with religion and the western world, and continue to do so as I navigate my own intersectionality.
Fact: uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and emotions are a part of life. This is not to say that one must accept & endure a life of unhappiness; however, learning how to balance acceptance AND change is a crucial part of therapy & growing. I want to listen, ask questions, understand your story... & help you learn & practice skills that you can utilize for the rest of your life. Just need to vent? Are you wanting an objective perspective on your own subjective views? I'd love to be your audience.
I love working with: Kids and teens working through anxiety, depression, dysregulated emotions, trauma, understanding family dynamics, self-harm, and low self-esteem symptoms. Young adults and adults working through PTSD symptoms, anxiety, depression, generational trauma, working through chronic somatic systems, identifying boundaries, life transitions, building self-esteem, and working on healing self.
When I first meet with people, some of my first questions I might ask are: - What made you hit the "Search therapists" button? - Do you have difficulty making decisions? - Feel stuck or lost when it comes to your direction in this busy life you've got going on? - Do you feel like things are just simply, unmanageable? I want my clients to feel at home in my office and talking to me about all of these questions, the way you feel comfortable talking to your closest friends and confidants.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or misunderstood? If so, I would love to offer you a comfortable (virtual) space in which to get support. I enjoy working with people who are exploring neurodivergence (particularly autism and ADHD), gender identity, sexual orientation, or body image. I also connect well with people who are experiencing major life changes, chronic health conditions, or who are struggling with relationships and boundaries.
I specialize in supporting people with marginalized sexualities and relationships, including kink/BDSM, polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, and general concerns with sex / sexual desire. I understand how strong the shame can be here; my main priority is making sure you feel deeply heard, understood, and accepted. Not just by me, but by all parts of yourself as well. My hope is to help clients fully integrate these parts, even (and especially) the hidden ones.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or major life changes, I am here to utilize your strengths and create a therapeutic environment that will best help you develop the skills to have a fuller life.

People live in fear of the unknown and what change will produce in an already chaotic existence. Change is good! Stepping outside of your comfort zone and feeling uncomfortable brings potential to a better you. Let me guide you through this journey.
