About My Clients

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or discouraged? Like you can’t balance everything? Have life circumstances, relationships, or experiences inhibited you from reaching your potential? Imagine a life where you find regular joy, look forward to every day, and feel ready to face all of life’s challenges. Let's create that together! I believe that people can manage mental health symptoms/issues when they connect to nature, their genuine self, and those around them. Weekdays M - Th 10 - 4 PM, Fri 9 - 3.

My Background and Approach

My approach is holistic. My calm thoughtfulness will help you feel safe to share your stories and concerns, and process your thoughts and feelings. I'll help you develop a healthy relationship to yourself and to others by understanding and changing unhealthy patterns. My love of nature, spirituality, and music inform my ability to guide you through honing self-care, self-awareness, emotional expression, creative solutions, and connections to others. In the 1st session, I will delve deeply into your primary concerns. The following 2-3 sessions I will collect a comprehensive history to frame your presenting issues in the context of your life story. We will collaborate to create a plan to address these issues and the potential for sustained growth. You can expect a significant reduction of symptoms within the first 1-2 months. Email to book a free 15-minute call. I'll get to know you, see if we're a good fit, and make recommendations for how I can help you achieve your goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that people naturally seek to give and receive love and kindness, but obstacles such as life circumstances, relationships, and experiences may get in the way. I help clients address those obstacles in order to develop a healthy relationship to themselves and others. I believe that people develop mental health symptoms when they are disconnected from their genuine self and from those around them. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have treated people of all ages in community-based mental health and outpatient settings. My training is in Psychodynamic and Family Systems theories. My work as a music teacher, songwriter, and performer informs my clinical work by helping clients
