I believe that no one is an expert on your life except you. I take a collaborative approach to create goals and act as a resource, rather than an expert. I work from the perspective that we all have what we need inside of us to become who and what we want.
I use a systemic lens, which means that I think the people we are connected to have a major impact on us. I also believe that family is not always blood, but the people we choose.
Through Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-centered therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), I will work alongside you to create solutions that bring you closer to where you want to be. I am also experienced in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and willing to work through that modality when appropriate.
