I am guided to work with clients through a holistic lens that supports connection with the mind, body, and spirit. Clients who are drawn to work with me are open to exploring the impacts anxiety, depression, and negative thoughts have on their body, relationships and day to day life. My Background and Approach
I draw from a Psychodynamic Approach, focusing on unearthing the unconscious beliefs that impact our engagement with life. I believe in the importance of our origin story and exploring how childhood relationships shape the beliefs we have about ourselves and those around us. In session, I incorporate emotional and somatic awareness as a guide in evaluating these imprinted beliefs. Once we begin to seek clarity through compassionate curiosity, we can begin to integrate the parts of ourselves we may reject to develop a deeper understanding of ourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe growth can occur in any season of life and that therapy is an act of self love. Bravery, compassion, and patience are ways we can begin healing the wounds that have been created overtime. Healing is a lifetime commitment that does not require perfection, but the vulnerability to embrace the imperfections that make us human. My belief as a therapist is to be a safe landing space so you can find clarity during your loving exploration of the unconscious.
