I am a LMFT at Foresight. I received my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. My treatment approach focuses on depression, anxiety, coping skills, relationships and interpersonal conflict, and stress management related to life changes. I approach therapy from a humanistic and client-centered perspective: focusing on being accepting and non judgmental, while trying to understand someone’s life experience current and past as it relates to challenges they are facing. genuineness, empathy, and helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings, and actions. I tend to come from a strengths based approach in order to build upon skills that already exist, while developing others along the way. I have experience working with teens, young adults, and adults implementing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, strength-based approaches, and mindfulness practices.
