About My Clients

Have you survived a trauma but don't feel fully recovered? Do you want help reclaiming your thoughts, feelings, body or relationships? I specialize in helping people heal trauma and personal relationships. These commonly go hand-in-hand, since we are often hurt by our acquaintances, friends, trusted adults or family members. This means therapy often includes a dual focus on past trauma and our present relationships, including the therapeutic one we build together in the service of your healing.

My Background and Approach

I work from a relational, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach. My work is focused on bringing relief to the whole self. We do this in four primary ways: 1). Finding your underlying causes of overwhelm (AKA "Insight"); 2). Gaining perspective on your thoughts, feelings, and actions (AKA "Self-Acceptance"); 3). Reconnecting with parts of yourself that you've had to hide away (AKA "Return to Wholeness"); and 4). Changing your patterns in relationships with yourself and others (AKA "Relational Repair").

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healing, insight, and growth arise when we are able to create a meaningful and trustworthy therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about creating a supportive space where people can explore within themselves, gain helpful insights, and foster self-compassion.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
