I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy that is tailored to each individual and their needs. However, my main goal is always for each client to feel EMPOWERED. Empowered to be who they want to be, take back their power from previous trauma, and have the skills to take on what ever comes their way. It is incredibly important to me that my clients feel safe, understood, and accepted. This is why I strive to provide a warm and supportive atmosphere where we can explore any difficulties holding you back from being your authentic self, and work collaboratively to achieve your goals.
I utilize CBT, EMDR, and Self-compassion in my therapy approach. Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective and extensively researched treatment modality for trauma and other issues. I also work to help clients deconstruct messages and beliefs about our self-worth to allow for greater flexibility and self-acceptance in how we show up in the world.
