When life gets tough, many people stop taking care of themselves, both physically & mentally. If you are suffering from depression, my goal is to help you get it to a manageable level by taking baby steps & continually achieving small goals. I create a safe & non-judgmental space where you can express your emotions openly. We will go back to the basics & put a focus self-care. I will teach you skills you can utilize in different situations to help keep your depression at manageable levels.
I create a safe & supportive space to allow individuals with anxiety to express their fears, worries, & concerns without judgment or criticism. Using CBT, we will identify & challenge negative thought patterns & beliefs that contribute to anxiety. We will then learn to reframe them in a more realistic & constructive manner. I will also teach you different coping skills, like relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to help you manage your anxiety in different situations & environments.
When working with clients who are navigating a difficult life transition, I strive to offer empathy, understanding, & validation, to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can express your emotions & concerns related to the transition. We will develop effective coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and other emotional difficulties, while identifying your strengths and focusing on your goals.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) focuses on helping individuals develop psychological flexibility & make positive changes in their lives. ACT provides clients with practical skills & strategies to develop a different relationship with their thoughts & emotions, enabling them to lead more meaningful & values-driven lives. It can be particularly helpful for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, & behaviors. It aims to help individuals identify & modify negative or unhelpful patterns of thinking & behavior in order to improve their emotional well-being and overall functioning by initiating behavior change, teaching emotional regulation, teaching problem-solving skills, and teaching self-awareness and self-compassion.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a goal-directed, collaborative approach that focuses on finding solutions to problems rather than analyzing their causes. SFBT provides clients with a practical, empowering, & time-efficient approach to therapy. By shifting the focus towards solutions, amplifying strengths, & encouraging collaboration, SFBT helps clients identify & work towards their desired outcomes while fostering hope & positive change.
I provide compassionate & specialized therapeutic support to individuals & couples where they can explore & address the emotional, psychological, & relational aspects associated with conception, pregnancy, childbirth, & the postpartum period. With expertise & empathy, I aim to empower you to embrace these life-changing experiences with confidence & resilience.
