My therapeutic approach is one of whole-person care. I believe that each of us has had unique experiences and journeys to get us to where we are today, and that everyone deserves care and therapy tailored to their specific needs and wants. In therapy work, I draw upon ideas from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, & Narrative Therapy. In my work with folks who are struggling with disordered eating/eating disorders or body image concerns, I also include ideas of Health At Every Size, body respect and neutrality, and All Foods Fit model.
I grew up in Washington state near the Olympic Peninsula and have been living in Seattle since 2016. I attended Central Washington University where I gained my Bachelors in Psychology, and then earned my Masters in Counseling at City University of Seattle.
