My Background and Approach
I bring warmth and understanding to sessions. As a therapist, I can: - Accept people for who they are and in their current life circumstances - Collaborate with people to set goals and help them reach them - Explain mental health symptoms in an easy-to-understand way - Inspire hope for getting better I enjoy guiding people toward positive changes, becoming healthier and more empowered, and witnessing them achieve more fulfilling lives over time. The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is knowing that I make a difference in people’s lives. My approach to treatment is that people underestimate their ability to change. It’s possible to change, and it’s possible to enjoy life again. Sessions with me will provide you with the space to be heard and understood so that you’ll be able to express your thoughts and feelings, and figure things out about yourself. It’s important for me to provide a non-judgmental space where you can be yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I believe that you are worthy of love and care, that there is no harm in asking for help, that therapy should address the person as a whole- their mind, body, and spirit, and that therapy works when both of us are committed to your healing.
