About My Clients
I believe that my role is to help you harness your inner knowledge and strength so that you can be the best version of yourself possible. My goal is to join you on your journey and to create a custom and individualized counseling experience. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, couples, families, and children 3-9 years old in play therapy. I also supervise Associate level therapists working toward full licensure.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with my Masters degree from Southern Methodist University in 2006. I have worked in a wide variety of settings since then and have been in my private practice for over nine years. Some of my areas of expertise include: trauma, anxiety, depression, play therapy, parenting, domestic/intimate partner abuse, communication skills building, acculturation issues, anger management, stress management, personal growth, and self-esteem building.
