I specialize in work with older adults, caregivers and grief. Maybe you are caring for an ailing family member or longing to reconnect with your most authentic self after years of tending to others. You might be considering a transition to retirement, combating loneliness after the death of a spouse, redefining purpose, and building new relationships, or dealing with your own illness. Whatever the case may be, you deserve care that is focused on the unique needs of older adults.
My Background and Approach
My areas of specialty include second half of life, aging concerns, caregiving, end of life care, self esteem, grief, and life transitions. My approach to counseling is rooted in a belief in a collaborative and mutual relationship between client and counselor. My background includes experience working in a hospice agency, grief and bereavement center and community mental health agency.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Healing and change become possible when you have support designed entirely for and about you – a space that feels like sanctuary – safe and confidential. It can be difficult to reach out for support. Call or email today to schedule a free phone or video consultation and I will help to make that first step a little less daunting.
