About My Clients

The current crisis has plagued you with losses of loved ones, of financial security, of identity and of connection. You and your partner/spouse are trapped in a cycle of negative interactions without resolution. You feel insecure in your relationships but you don't know why. Trust in yourself is a challenge. You were the adult as a child. Childhood insecurities sabotage your relationships and other areas of your life.

My Background and Approach

When we live our lives unconsciously, we repeat self-defeating behaviors that may have helped us survive in circumstances over which we had no control. We don't understand the underlying issues behind the choices we make that cause difficulties with family, marriage/relationships and work. Without insight into ourselves we are unable to effect real change. I am a warm, caring therapist and I provide a supportive, safe and non-judgmental to explore issues that are challenging you right now. I am a gentle and collaborative guide in helping you gain self-understanding and then to take the small steps required to reach your goals. You deserve to be seen and heard - deeply and fully. I am a person-centered, eclectic therapist. Among therapies I use are CBT, DBT, EFT and John Gottman techniques. I do inner child work using art expressive therapy. I also help people through the grief process
