About My Clients
I enjoy working with kids, teens, young adults and families to help navigate and manage anxiety, depression, ASD, trauma, social skills, body image/self-esteem, conflict-resolution, parenting challenges, emotion regulation, and executive functioning skills/ADHD.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is flexible, open-minded, client-focused, and goal-oriented. I strive to meet client’s where they are at in their therapeutic journey and utilize introspective discussion to explore aspects of life such as, generational influences, coping skills, societal pressures, life expectations, and/or unhelpful past narratives. I aim to help clients meet their therapy goals by utilizing elements from various theoretical perspectives including, but not limited to: solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about helping others find solutions to life’s numerous challenges and I value opportunities to help clients become more in touch with their creative sides. Through learning new coping skills, identifying helpful boundaries, or gaining appreciation for one’s sensitives, I work to support clients as they become creative problem-solvers in their own stories. I work well with deep-thinkers that are motivated to better understand themselves and are open to working collaboratively to appreciate their strengths and sensitives. I aim to guide and encourage clients as they process challenges and develop new strategies for overcoming life’s hardships and become the experts of their own stories.
