About My Clients
I focus as much on client’s strengths as I do on their challenges. My approach is primarily psychodynamic, helping clients bring unconscious thoughts and behaviors to the conscious, helping clients shift to more effective and fulfilling patterns of functioning. My Background and Approach
I received my undergraduate degree, BS, at Rutgers University and my MSW (Masters Social Work) at Columbia University, NYC. With 22 years of direct practice, and postgraduate training at The Washington School of Psychiatry, I have extensive experience in treatment of Mood Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, and Sexual and Gender identity issues and work extensively with adolescents and adults.
