About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who has been dealt an unfair hand by life and as a result has experienced a degree of trauma (severe or otherwise). Their needs are not "to fix themselves" because there is nothing wrong with them but to relieve themselves of the burdensome perspective that they may be defective because of their past experiences. Therefore their goals are to work through their past to be able to leave it behind so that they may adopt a new perspective and get a new lease on life.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in EMDR, integrating ACT or DBT as needed to guide clients through their past challenges. Authenticity is paramount—I see my clients as the true authorities in their lives, their unique perspectives shaping our therapeutic journey. Acknowledging the daunting nature of seeking therapy, especially with potential differences, I empathize with the human struggle, drawing from my own difficult experiences. I understand the hesitations, yet my commitment to helping others through their struggles, irrespective of our differences, is the driving force behind my work. I embrace diversity, recognizing it as a source of strength, and approach each therapeutic interaction with a genuine desire to facilitate meaningful change in the lives of those I work with.

Hello, I'm here with a genuine belief in the capacity for change and growth within each person's journey. There's no limit to what we can achieve, and I view mental health issues as learned behaviors we can work together to unlearn. It's about replacing the faulty patterns with healthier ones. My own experience with childhood trauma ignited a passion to assist others in their mental health struggles. Therapy was my compass, guiding me to work through my trauma and pursue my goals without hindrance. The freedom I've found is something I want for you too.
