About My Clients

The heart of my work is trauma resolution. Much of our trauma in life occurs within relationships. We have been deeply hurt, betrayed, rejected, abandoned, abused. This pain of this is so profound it powerfully shapes us. We find ourselves engaging and behaving in ways and relationships in which we continue to suffer. We are the walking wounded repeating patterns that keep us stuck. I long for people to get to the root of these wounds, resolve the pain and trauma, and become whole and free.

My Background and Approach

I have a Masters Degree in Counseling. I am a certified Level 1 Gottman Therapist. I also work with the addiction recovery population. I am a strength based, emotionally focused therapist emphasizing emotional connection and attunement in sessions and the strengths and resources brought even if there are difficult challenges currently. I have a special interest in working with people who have been betrayed, addicted, or abused through religious and narcissistic trauma. I work with people in the midst of life transitions. From dating to post divorce. I am always assessing people's lives and looking for the safe people. I long to help you identify them, find them, and learn how to implement boundaries for those that aren't. I want to help you become a safe person. I want to help you become assertive, secure, and develop your own sense of self and identity. Much of this is simply removing the debris of your past, processing and releasing to make room for healing and new growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I stand actively against racism and discrimination in all forms. I value the sanctity of human life and believe that we must fight against systemic, oppressive systems that threaten to demean, degrade and dehumanize. I am a Latina woman who has experienced my own share of discrimination. This has only served to strengthen my own personal and professional crusade to advocate for people who most need it and struggle to be heard.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Atheism
  • Christianity
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
