My background is in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression, with a focus on the unique needs of womxn and folks in their 20s and 30s. My style is warm, open, and compassionate, and I aim to provide a safe, collaborative space that nurtures the therapeutic relationship and promotes empowerment and inner growth.
I work primarily from an Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) perspective. IFS is a non-pathologizing approach to therapy that focuses on taking a curious and compassionate stance towards the many “parts” of ourselves. This work allows us to access and make sense of our inner experience with the goal of alleviating conflict, healing deep emotional wounds, and restoring harmony and peace. I also incorporate Attachment, Narrative, Somatic, and Mindfulness-based approaches. A social worker at heart, I strive to highlight and build upon your inner strengths and resources, appreciating all the complexities that make you unique.
