We can sometimes feel lonely, misunderstood, overwhelmed or even embarrassed when it comes to our inner thoughts, feelings or struggles. We might have difficulty figuring out exactly what it is that is making us feel the way we do. Seeking guidance is taking the first step to a happier and healthier life.
My Background and Approach
I am experienced in working with clients ranging from ages 6 and up, with varying presenting concerns and diagnoses. These include anxiety, depression, trauma, marital/relationship issues, family issues, life transitions, grief and loss, ADHD, behavioral issues and substance abuse. I am well versed in providing therapy to individuals, as well as couples and families. Throughout our work together, I offer a safe and supportive space to process through internal struggles or relational issues. Therapy is what you need it to be. Together, we will find what works best for you to overcome whatever is holding you back from your full potential - whether it is a mental health issue or general life stressor. I utilize an eclectic approach that includes evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based approach and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with a focus on Mindfulness. Each individual is unique and thrives when treatment is tailored to their specific needs.
