About My Clients
Depression can be a devastating experience, especially for someone with strong personal values and big life goals. As a licensed clinical psychologist and depression treatment specialist, I can help you cut through the fog of depression, reconnect with your values, and regain a sense of confidence, purpose, and direction.
My Background and Approach
Have you been down or depressed lately? Do you get no pleasure from the things that used to interest you? Or have past regrets made it difficult to focus on the here-and-now? Dealing with depression is tough, but there's good news. I can help you learn practical, research-backed strategies to (1) become more aware of the ways depression affects your daily life, (2) figure out the useful things your depression might be trying to tell you, and (3) blaze a new trail toward the life you want to be living. I work with people from many backgrounds, and I have specialized experience with military veterans, high-performers in professional and academic settings, and those who hold religious, spiritual, or philosophical values. If any of this struck a chord with you, let’s chat. Schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation, check out my website, or give me a call today to see if we might be a good fit.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Depression is one of the most common and most harmful health conditions today, and I believe that those struggling with it deserve to work with someone who has made that work their specialty. Depression therapy is my professional passion. My primary focus since my first day of graduate school has been treating depression and related concerns (e.g., anxiety, sleep, stress). I've done so in many different settings, and I've also published original research on the nature and treatment of depression, which deeply informs my practice.
