About My Clients
I have experience working in Community-Based, Outpatient and Justice-Involved Mental Health Settings. I have a passion for working with young and older adults in order to assist them in developing and utilizing the necessary coping skills to manage and thrive during difficult times and life transitions, and through needed change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight. I received my Master's Degree in psychology with an emphasis on Adults and Healthy Aging from The National University. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, interpersonal conflict, and stress management. I approach therapy from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered perspective: focusing on genuineness, empathy, and helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings, and actions. I aim to highlight strengths and help identify and create opportunities for personal growth. I have experience working with Children, teens, adults, and older adults utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches, solution focus, narrative, and mindfulness practices.
