About My Clients
Do you ever feel not "good enough" in relationships, family or friendships? Are you often your worst critic? With all the pressure to be perfect and achieve great things, you must be exhausted. These feelings can effect how well we stick to our boundaries and how we connect with the world around us. Therapy can offer you a new perspective of what's important in life and help you conserve your energy for the better. I look forward to working together and offering healing in the way you see fit.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver, Colorado in 2022. Throughout my graduate degree journey, I gained clinical experience working with diverse populations as a behavioral mental health intern at a medical clinic, and as an intern therapist at Naropa Community Counseling Center. My academic experience as a social worker has refined my skills in both case management and advocacy within oppressive systems. I am certified in Level-1 Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and trained in several modalities such as CBT, Mindfulness, and Somatic therapy. I believe strongly in remaining trauma-informed throughout my practice. MSW in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver B.S. in Music Performance from University of Colorado at Denver
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that experiences we have are sacred, and all emotions are important. As we begin to redefine our relationship with our emotions, I inherently believe that we become less judgmental and more forgiving of ourselves and others. We can't predict what life will throw at us next, but we all deserve a safe and consistent space to talk about it. I believe in the importance of continued education and trainings to remain trauma-informed and social justice-informed. In my personal time, I love singing super loud in the car, hanging out with my kiddo, and cuddling with my 12 year old dog.
