About My Clients
Life is complicated and it is easy to lose your sense of balance. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out when you need help, let alone admit that you need it. I can provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging space where clients can work through their worries and learn how to use their natural strengths to get through challenges and move forward.
My Background and Approach
I WANT YOU TO BE EMBOLDENED TO BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF. My job is to help you to identify and access that internal strength and power to accomplish those goals. In my counseling work with adults, adolescents, and families, I utilize strategies that work for each specific client so that you can feel free and safe to explore and express in a way that feels best for you. My training background is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) experience, and I enjoy working with people from a person-centered and solution-focused approach, working to first develop a relationship with my clients and then helping them to find the solutions within themselves to lead the type of life they want to live. I use the traditional mode of talk therapy, but also encourage my clients to engage in more creative methods of expression including art or music, if they are interested in trying those things.
