About My Clients
Do you keep revealing to yourself and your loved ones that you are not the person you want to be? Have you kept yourself so hidden from others that you have difficulty knowing who you are or what you want? You have adapted over the years to the demands of others, which has helped you survive. But those adaptations aren't serving you anymore, and likely making things worse. Your therapy space should be the one place to discover your authentic self, to let your true self emerge in the world.
My Background and Approach
I am a trained trauma therapist with a foundation in analytic depth psychology. I recognize that we become who we are in the context of relationships and the various traumas we endure as we grow and develop. Because of the nature of our society, there are very few places where our true selves are fully embraced, and this often leads us to be fragmented selves who are expertly inauthentic in order to fit our surroundings. But this is a private kind of suffering. I regard therapy as a healing relationship to help you transform into your higher authentic self. I take a narrative approach, which means we work to bring awareness to the untold narratives of your life which drive your beliefs, desires, feelings, and fears. I prefer to take a collaborative approach to discover the unique ways you can heal yourself from within.
