About My Clients

My clients avoid conflict, setting boundaries, and saying no. They feel guilty for having needs and apologize more than needed. Starting therapy, they feel like they are strangers to themselves. Before, they would think their problems important enough to get help. After they dig a little deeper, they uncover how destructive people pleasing can be to their physical and mental health. After therapy, they can connect with others while staying grounded in themselves. They finally feel free.

My Background and Approach

I would be lying if I said I hadn’t been there. I admit it - I am a recovering people pleaser myself. Being on the other side was worth the hard work it took - now life is easier. Being grounded and true to myself is what my clients say is the biggest breath of fresh air when working together. They like that I don’t leave them in the dark with my process and they love the warm reassurance that I LOVE working with them. I’ve been told my enthusiasm and genuine curiosity shines through my work. I am not the therapist to nod, ask or just give you information. I really dig into things with you - I take you from using just the logical side of yourself and guide you in healing your emotional self. I use EMDR and parts work in my therapy approach and I find it to be incredibly gentle yet effective.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

For me, leading by example means living with intention. I live and work according to my values - connection, simplicity, comfort, play, autonomy, ritual, and curiosity. Daily, I remind myself to slow down and be present - even when my ADHD makes it hard.
