Are you proud of being capable and independent, but tired of doing everything on your own? I can help you learn how to receive.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in San Francisco, CA
I welcome white people to my practice who are working on their own racism and want to learn to be sturdier allies to people of color.
I am trained in AEDP, which is a modality informed by attachment theory and brain science that harnesses the power of the therapeutic relationship to undo aloneness and create lasting transformation for clients.
My therapeutic orientation is strengths-based, humanistic, relational, and informed by principles of social justice. I have an undergraduate degree in Women's Studies from UC Santa Cruz, and identify as a feminist.
My style is "here-and-now", using the therapeutic relationship to give you a transformative experience of feeling seen and understood for who you really are. This is the foundation of change that has a ripple effect into the rest of your life, transforming your relationships.
My current passion is AEDP, which is a modality informed by attachment theory and neuroscience that harnesses the power of the therapeutic relationship to undo aloneness and create lasting transformation for clients.
Humanistic Therapy is strengths-based and highlights the human tendency to move towards health, once any barriers are removed. I believe in the humanistic therapeutic stance of "unconditional positive regard" for my clients.
I specialize in treating folks who are more on the avoidant side of the attachment spectrum. This might look like being self-sufficient, self-reliant, high achieving, giving more than you get in relationships, and holding your emotions in or having trouble feeling them at all. I can help you learn to receive, create mutually satisfying relationships, and to access your feelings and aliveness.
When you come to therapy with me, it's your turn. Many therapists are drawn to my practice because I use AEDP to work experientially and relationally, focusing on strengths and your innate healing capacity. Our work will give you a deep experience of being seen, heard, accompanied, and known. We will work collaboratively to undo aloneness and access your big beautiful heart.

Do you have trouble knowing what you want and asking for it? Do you know how to set boundaries and make requests? Imagine a life where you find your voice, love the body you've already got, and feel confident, strong, and powerful. I can help you get there.
