I work with clients that are struggling with such issues as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. I support my clients during various life transitions, dealing with work/relationship stressors, or parenting challenges. With my adult women clients I work with them on pregnancy and/or postpartum challenges, work/school stress, relationships, and building healthier self esteem.
My Background and Approach
In my sessions I like to use a combination of techniques that would benefit a client's individual needs. I incorporate play/art therapy often with my children, teens, and families. I also incorporate CBT and mindfulness skills with my clients. I try to meet my clients where they are at and make them feel comfortable in making their changes to get where they would like to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life is full of changes and stressors, and reaching out to a therapist can be beneficial to most, regardless of age. Whether it is starting a new school, having a baby, or losing a loved one, there are ways to cope and get through it. Life will always throw something your way, and having the tools to get through makes our lives that much more rewarding.
