About My Clients

My professional goal is to help each of my clients become their most radically authentic selves. I work with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship struggles, communication problems, life transitions, and issues relating to sex. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, the consensual non-monogamy (CNM) community, and I am kink/BDSM-affirming. I also love working with couples and relational configurations of any size.

My Background and Approach

I work collaboratively with my clients, creating a safe space for exploring your concerns through cultural sensitivity, humor, and a non-judgmental stance. I am extremely sex-positive - sex affects all of our lives in some shape or form, so my clients are always welcome to bring it up in session, whether sex is your main concern or not. I think systemically, meaning that I understand that no one exists in a vacuum; we are each affected by the many relationships in our lives. I get how hard relationships can be, especially when you hold identities that are typically hidden and discriminated against. You and your partner(s) want to work with a therapist who understands your identities and embraces you for who you are, without having to worry that you'll be judged. I am strengths-based and believe that you are the expert in your own life - each of us has the tools within us to solve our problems, we just sometimes need an outside boost to help us find those tools and solutions!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a queer-identified relational therapist, and I am extremely passionate about giving quality help to historically underserved sexual minority groups. I believe that one of the most brave tasks of our lives is to fully embrace who we are. I struggled with my own coming out process as an adult, so I intimately understand many of the struggles my clients face. At the same time, I recognize and honor each person's unique and special life circumstances, triumphs, and struggles. We are each wholly individual. If you want to learn more about how I can help, feel free to reach out to me so we can connect. I look forward to potentially working with you!
