About My Clients
I offer individual therapy for women's issues and group therapy for betrayal trauma.
My Background and Approach
Being married for 29 years with two adult daughters, I understand the joys and challenges of marriage and family life. My experience in working with college students and young professionals for 26 years has given me insight and understanding into the unique struggles young women face. I especially enjoy helping young women navigate through their struggles and challenges of finding their way during these crucial years. As an Associate Partner Trauma Therapist through IITAP, trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, I specialize in working with women experiencing betrayal trauma. I also enjoy helping engaged and married couples using the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment to experience a more satisfying relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My faith has influenced my journey. I desire to help individuals find emotional healing while integrating faith and psychology in the process to help them experience authentic life transformation. However, I am mindful to meet clients where they are and approach our work from their worldviews and values. I am equally comfortable working with clients who desire to integrate their views, explore spiritual wounds or conflicts, or remain present from a place of non-judgment. I have had the opportunity to travel and live in other countries and I enjoy working with clients from diverse cultures, lifestyles, and backgrounds.
