About My Clients
Are you an 'overthinker'? Self-doubt and the fear of making mistakes can lead to analysis paralysis leaving you both exhausted and with tasks uncompleted. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to get things done without second-guessing yourself or procrastinating? You may look at other people who don't seem to worry about the little things as much and feel that could never be you. It is possible. Through our work together, you can begin to feel more confident & live a more fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
I’m an independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for empowering others to reach their full potential through self-awareness and healing. I completed my graduate studies & fellowship at the nationally top-ranked University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I believe that a ‘one size fits all’ approach doesn’t work well when it comes to therapy. As such, services are catered to meet the unique needs of each person and I am committed to providing an inclusive, culturally competent, and LGBTQ+ affirming space. Clients can expect an integrative therapeutic approach that relies on clinician creativity, experience & instinct to carefully choose evidenced-based strategies to best meet treatment goals. All services are provided from a person-centered and strengths-based perspective which honors individual strengths and a belief in the healing capacity within everyone. Therapy modalities most commonly utilized are ACT, Brainspotting, Mindfulness, MI, and strengths-based strategies.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a supporter of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. With a minor in Women & Gender Studies during my undergraduate education, I am passionate about social justice and women's rights issues.
