About My Clients

My Background and Approach
My approach focuses on trust-building and helping you safely enter a place of genuinely processing your emotions instead of avoiding, ruminating, or judging yourself about your emotions. Together we'll work towards harmony—aligning your thoughts and your emotions, releasing the grip of the past, and embracing the possibility of the present: That you are safe now, that you have power, that you are loved, and that you are enough. My style focuses on helping you develop insight, notice the impacts of attachment styles, patterns, and power dynamics, as well as direct skill building. The other element of my work is experiential, or more "somatic" oriented, and brings attention to how past and present experiences are stored in the body and affect our well-being. I am also EMDR trained.
