About My Clients
My clients are bright, creative people who find that Brainspotting helps them address obstacles and bring hopes into reality in their creative, relational and everyday lives, as well as people seeking freedom from the after-effects of trauma - including trauma perpetuated by diet culture. I've also met with many people addressing issues such as normal life changes, grief, depression and anxiety symptoms, or helping people in addition recovery navigate the courageous changes they're making.
My Background and Approach
My primary practice is the Neuroexperiential Model known as Brainspotting. It can feel similar to a powerful meditation, except that it is supported and targeted towards your specific interests and concerns. In this process, your brain receives the attuned mirroring it needs to heal itself, so that you can shift from feelings of dysregulation to regulation. It is gentle and incredibly powerful. An additional benefit of Brainspotting is that can support either short-term or longer term therapy, depending on your needs and interests.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
People can grow and change throughout our lives. Maybe we know folks who've had tremendous struggles and turned them around due to therapy. But people who experience a great deal of success in various dimensions of life can find themselves in need of support when entering a whole new season or chapter. There are challenges that come with being gifted and creative, even for those who've made good use of those traits. But even when you feel you've taken your personal development as far as it can go, it is possible to access more of your creative potential. Brainspotting is a terrific practice for doing that.
