Do you struggle with a mind that does not turn off? Do you overanalyze yourself and others? Do you have a critical inner voice? I can help you find the "off button" in your mind, no longer react to every thought and feeling that goes through your mind and learn to laugh at the voice in your head. Together we can achieve what seems impossible.
My Background and Approach
As a psychologist with almost 25 years of experience, I specialize in mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral therapy. I help clients with a broad range of issues such as moodiness, irritability or anger, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, racing or worried thoughts, ADD/ADHD, insomnia, relationship conflict, weight gain or loss, substance abuse, self-injury, or other self-destructive behaviors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is influenced by Thich Nhat Hanh, one of the most respected Zen masters in the world, Eckart Tolle, author of The Power of Now and A New Earth, Victor Frankl, a concentration camp survivor and author of Man's Search for Meaning, and Joyce Meyer, an adult survivor of severe child sexual abuse and author of Battlefield of the Mind. I am also influenced by the work of Timothy Ferris, entrepreneur and best-selling author of Tools of Titans and the 4 Hour Work Week.
