I approach therapy from a particularly strengths-based focus. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, cultural respect and humility, a trauma-focused lens, and attachment-based methods to help my clients explore how past experiences, the personal narrative they are living in, and the patterns they may be unaware they are perpetuating are impacting their life and relationships in the present moment. I also “zoom out” and explore the wider systems the client interacts with - us humans are relational creatures and our broader contexts impact us in a variety of ways. My specialities include anxiety, ADHD, immigrant/first-generation challenges, stress management, identity exploration and life transitions.
I graduated with a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I also have a B.A. in English and a B.B.A. in Marketing. Out of the office, you’re likely to find me on a hike with my dog or with my nose in a new book.
