Christine Rosales

For many years I worked as a crisis social worker supporting adolescents and adults with suicidal thoughts in emergency rooms, ICUs, and inpatient mental health settings. I am skilled in assessing treatment needs depending on the individual and connecting people and families to resources. Additionally, I have worked as a therapist in a psychiatric hospital, and I was the admissions director responsible for overseeing all assessments for suicidal patients.

Working with survivors of sexual trauma is what originally drew me into the field of social work. It was my primary area of focus throughout my education, and I have continued to attend trainings and ongoing education conferences to best support people in this area. I have work experience at a children's justice center providing individual and group therapy to young survivors, and I have facilitated group therapy for parents of survivors.

With a personal history of infertility I have found a passion for supporting others in this area. I understand the language associated with ART, testing, and medications, and I have participated in training related to the emotional challenges that often accompany an infertility diagnosis.

I have been completing various types of mental health evaluations for 10 years including crisis evaluations, psychiatric hospital admission evaluations, and intake assessments for outpatient counseling. For the last few years I have used testing measurements to aid in the thoroughness of these assessments and find them to be extremely helpful. The assessments I provide consist of three appointments 1) psychological interview 2) testing and 3) feedback session to review the results.
