Counselor in Kenosha, WI
I'm a military brat; I come from a large military family. I have worked in the Department of Veterans Affairs for almost nine years in a variety of roles. These include the National Veteran Crisis line, National Homeless Hotline, outpatient substance abuse clinic, intensive outpatient abuse clinic, MHICM/RANGE, Mental Health Clinic, and running two residential programs (Dom) for substance abuse and mental illness. I love sitting with active service members and veterans!
Many people just like you are struggling with the same concerns and are also looking for help. Have you been told you are "not really black" and feel as if you are not accepted by your own people?
I too live with a learning disability called dyslexia. Do you have a learning disability, and it is impacting school, work, and life? Let's chat.
