I think of therapy as a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. In order for that process to be as effective as possible, I want the client to be able to find the right fit with a therapist that they are able to trust and build rapport with. I value the client’s journey above all, and I will always want to prioritize their comfort, treatment needs, and goals when coming to therapy, whether or not that’s with me. When working together, I hope to be able to help them uncover or even further their own strengths and transform into who they aspire to be.
My practice is informed through a person-centered and empathic lens, recognizing and holding respect of your own personal background and history. My treatment approach is eclectic; I frequently utilize a mixture of CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, and a trauma-informed lens when working together to help resolve your main concerns.
