About My Clients
The time is now. There is a reason why you're reading this -- it's because you're ready. You've been looking for something. Maybe you want to find ways to reach the "optimal you." Or maybe you're struggling and need someone with whom to walk down the path of healing. Maybe it's time to address cultural and generational trauma swept under the rug. Whatever brought you here, it is where you need to be. You are ready for something new and I am the person to help you get there.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Filipina sport and clinical psychologist with an approach that is client-centered and humanistic, focusing on you as a person and your needs. Everyone has more than one identity and should not be seen as only an athlete, person of color, parent, student, executive, or partner. Based on your goals, our work together may include mental skills training, talk therapy, EMDR, and/or Brainspotting. Whether it’s about self-exploration, improving performance, healing, or increasing knowledge, you are at the right place. I have a holistic and inclusive view of people that I work with. Every person is unique and that's why my approach to every person's situation is different. My approach is the best approach for you. Approaches I have used include CBT, relational, ACT, as well as incorporating modalities such as EMDR and Brainspotting.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It's time for you to start the journey toward your personal goals. We all strive to be our optimal selves and I want to congratulate you. You have taken a step towards where you want to be. It's my belief that what you need, what you are searching for, is already within you. You are ready and I am ready to help you get to where you want to be. For most of my life, I have been passionate about five main things: Mental Health and Wellness, Performance (athletic and musical), Education, Culture, and Family. Combining those passions led me to a career in clinical and sport/performance psychology. I am both a clinician and an educator who is driven by the need to live with purpose and meaning. By helping others toward their own goals, I find myself traveling down a path that was meant for me.
