About My Clients

My clients tend to be left of center, values driven, and specifically seeking a politically informed/anti-oppressive approach to therapy. I am committed to working in my communities: with queer folks, trans folks, and activists. We do a lot of work around the effects of disconnection, trauma, and systemic oppression. My clients also seem be down for an expressive, engaged counselor who brings their warm, silly, passionate self into the room. My clients are pretty damn great.

My Background and Approach

I believe we feel better when we feel connected. Connection comes from being seen, heard, and understood in our relationships. Many of us are struggling and suffering due to ongoing disconnection, which is often rooted in systemic oppression. I want to work with you to build a strong therapeutic relationship that holds space for your personal experiences and the sociopolitical context surrounding them. I hold a master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am driven to engage in struggle for collective liberation and I am committed to deeply supporting each other along the way.
