About My Clients
It's my sacred privilege to walk with adult survivors of childhood trauma who courageously seek restoration. I also journey with individuals whose lives have been turned upside down by sexual betrayal, or a concussion, mild traumatic brain injury, or post-concussion syndrome. I exclusively offer online counseling in Washington State. And, though I'm not a preferred provider for any insurance, I offer superbills so you may seek reimbursement.
My Background and Approach
Everything about who we are began somewhere (whether we know that beginning, or are searching for it). These beginnings hold the answers we seek about ourselves and the keys to the life and healing we seek. We're a collection of our experiences and how we have navigated them--our story. Though you may not know where your depression, anxiety, lack of confidence, or feeling disconnected comes from, I fiercely believe it's possible to bring beauty from the ashes. My treatment style is relational, eclectic, and narrative focused. In 2022 I completed a Level I certificate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care at The Allender Center, and I am currently pursuing additional certificates. In 2018, I earned my master's degree in counseling psychology. My work is additionally informed by 9 years working with both survivors of acquired and traumatic brain injuries in the medical field.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my personal time, I can be found gardening, reading, soaking up the ocean, snuggling with my four-footed friends, and when I get a chance, traveling. I am passionate about the misogyny that exists in our country and the plight of trafficked children and women.
