My Background and Approach
I utilize three main approaches to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals: Cognitive behavior therapy, which helps individuals to recognize that thoughts, feelings and actions are interrelated. Rational emotive behavior therapy, which helps individuals to identify irrational beliefs. Solution focused therapy, which helps clients to identify their strengths. Together, we can collaborate on strategies to reduce and manage symptoms of anxiety and depression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is capable of change. As long as there is therapeutic rapport and a client has a motivation to change, I believe that realistic therapeutic goals can be achieved in a relatively short period of time.
