About My Clients
You're sitting there, hoping that the therapist across from you really understands. You want to finally talk about the secret feelings or issues, but you're afraid to say anything when the time comes. Instead of being vulnerable and open, you feel shame, guilt, fear, and anger at yourself. The topics stay comfortable; time drags on. Maybe you go back, maybe you don't. I get it. I'm here to teach you the specific skills which may help you with stress, regulate emotions, & improve relationships.
My Background and Approach
Are you looking for a welcoming and inclusive therapist? Do you want someone who understands the unique challenges LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, and people with marginalized identities face today? My dual licensure in addictions and mental health counseling means that I have the expertise to help with many of the issues that may arise – be it addiction or anxiety, depression or self-esteem, trauma or abuse, racism or discrimination. I'm here to teach you the specific skills which may help you change your life. I'm an affirming therapist here for you to bring whatever issues you really have to the table. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider with years of experience working with diverse populations. I am available only for Colorado Residents.
